A wound-rotor motor is a type of induction motor where the rotor windings are connected through slip rings to external resistances. When the motor reaches full speed the rotor poles are switched to short circuit. Applications: 2, 4, 6 and 8 poles as per the motor/generator requirements.
We have also built sophisticated self-supporting spare-parts and other components for wound stators and rotors, customized in various sizes and dimensions to suit client's needs.
